Ground rules

Minimal time of booking

Requests can be made by Mobifer Marketplace customers by default not less than 2 working days up front.

Booking request cancellation policy

If the customer confirms the offer made by an operator then the bus of this operator will be temporarily reserved for 15 minutes which should be enough time for the customer to complete the order (filling out the details and paying for the ride). If the 15 min landmark has passed then the booking request becomes inactive, the bus is released and the customer needs to restart the booking process.

Edit order details

  • Group leader details can be edited till 1h before the departure.
  • Pick up location can be specified till 1h before the departure but the pick-up address cannot change. For example the address is Luminor Bank, Liivalaia 45, Tallinn, 10145 (autofilled by Google) and the specification is “Bus stop in front of Luminor Bank in Liivalaia street”.
  • Starting point and end point can be changed 48h before the actual departure only if the operator confirms. Additional costs will be billed by the operator directly. If the ride will get shorter then the difference in km and time is not reimbursed for the customer. Customers can follow the cancellation policy and book another trip.

Order cancellation policy

Cancellation policy is mentioned in Terms and Conditions

Vehicle location and participation in offers

Into the booking request all the operators should enter whose vehicles are located in a 20 km birds eye view radius of the departure point. By default the default vehicle location should be accepted. If the operator has assigned a temporary location for the vehicle for this time period then also those vehicles should enter the offering.

Ride Calculation Logic

  • Mileage for all the rides is calculated starting from the bus default location;
  • For the pricing the mileage from the bus default location to the client’s departure point, from the departure point to the destination and from the destination to the bus default location (empty run) needs to be calculated. For faster offering mileage from the bus location to the departure point is set to 20 km. ;
  • Extra buffer mileage for any deviances in Google maps or possible detours need also to be considered which is 10% of the total ride mileage. So for example if the ride total mileage is 50 km, 55 km should be taken as the basis of the price calculation. If the ride total mileage is 100 km, 110 km should be taken as the basis of the price calculations.
  • Bus driver’s work hours are calculated for the ride total hours. Ride total hours include start from the bus default location, ride time with the client, compulsory 45 min rest (required if the total ride time is over 4h and 30 min) and the empty run time back to the bus default location.
  • There is a time buffer that needs to be taken into consideration for pricing.
    • For the buses < 21 seats extra 10 min per every hour needs to be added;
    • For the buses > 21 seats extra 15 min per every hour needs to be added.
